Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes which tool we rank first.

What that means

Pro Trade Tech is a free site. We do not charge you to read our comparisons. To keep it running, we join affiliate and referral programs with some of the software companies we write about. When you click a link to one of those tools and end up signing up, the company pays us a small commission.

You pay the same price you would have paid going to the tool directly, and often you get the same trial or discount. The commission comes out of the company's pocket, not yours.

What it does not mean

An affiliate commission never buys a better ranking. We pick the winner of every matchup on the merits: current pricing, real features, and what actually fits the trade. If the tool that pays us the least is the best fit, it still wins. We would rather lose a commission than send you to software that lets you down on the job.

Not every link on the site is an affiliate link, and we do not earn on every tool we mention.

The legal bit

This disclosure is here to comply with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements. We would tell you anyway, because we would want the same straight answer if the roles were reversed.
